The jobs required are often varied and time specific.

If you are one of our plot tenants and plan to give up your plot, we would appreciate you letting the office know by Thursday 12th October 2023.
Annual invoices for allotment plot charges will be sent out week commencing 16th October 2023.

Studley Parish Council Office Closed – Tuesday 19th September 2023

Please be aware that our office will be closed for the day of Cllr Jill Beard’s funeral, Tuesday 19th September 2023.
Our office is closed to the public on Wednesday’s. We will therefore reopen on Thursday 21st September from 10:00-13:00.

**Studley Parish Council Statement**

 

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we, the members of Studley Parish Council, express our deepest condolences at the passing of our esteemed colleague, Councillor Jill Beard. Councillor Beard was a valued member of our council and a pillar of our community. Her unwavering dedication to the residents of Studley will always be remembered and cherished.

 

Councillor Beard joined Studley Parish Council in 2010, and from the very beginning, she demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to the betterment of our community. Her tireless efforts, boundless energy, and passion for serving others were truly remarkable. Jill’s contributions were not limited to the council chambers; she extended her support and assistance to residents in countless ways, always going above and beyond to ensure their needs were met.

 

Councillor Beard’s  profound impact on our community was evident in the positive changes she helped bring about during her time with us. Her advocacy for local initiatives, dedication to improving public services, and her willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need were truly exceptional.

 

Councillor Jill Beard’s passing leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, not only within Studley Parish Council but also in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of selfless service and her spirit of community will continue to inspire us all.

 

At this sombre moment, our thoughts are with Councillor Beard’s family, friends, and loved ones.
