brown and yellow cake on black plate

Meet your parish councillors.

Come along to the Studley in Bloom Coffee Morning at the Studley Village Hall this Thursday, 11th August, from 10.30am to 12pm where parish councillors will be on hand to chat with you.

Our council members are always happy to talk about local issues and take on board any matters that need further discussion or consideration by the council as a whole.

All set against the informal Studley in Bloom’s fund-raising background where you can pick up a cup of coffee and home-made cake at the same time.

No more Saturday bulky waste collections.

The parish council’s monthly bulky waste collection service has been withdrawn.

The parish council’s bulky waste service used to operate from the Pool Road car park on a Saturday morning. It has been well used over many years by Studley residents but due to operational changes that include lack of availability on Saturday mornings and restrictions on what will be accepted at the final destination point, Biffa have advised they cannot continue.
There is no change to the bulky waste collection service provided by Stratford District Council, details of which are available on their website via this link – Our Bulky Waste Collection Service | Stratford-on-Avon District Council

123+ going live!

Stratford District Council have provided this 123+ bin deliveries update for residents. The leaflet is here.

Ahead of the new 123+ recycling and refuse collection service starting next week on Monday 1 August, Stratford-on-Avon District Council is providing residents with an update on food caddy deliveries. If residents have not yet received their food caddies, and have let us know this, they should be delivered in the next few days.

If you haven’t received your food caddy – food waste can be put into the garden waste bin temporarily if you’ve subscribed to the garden waste collection service. Otherwise, food waste can be placed in the grey bin until the new food caddy arrives.

If you haven’t received an information book or calendar – you can view collection dates and the schedule on the Council website –

You can also download the Council’s app via our website at, and collection dates will be in there from 1 August.

Councillor Ian Shenton, Climate Change Portfolio at Stratford District Council said: “This is a huge new contract and unfortunately, we have been hit with a few delays to our deliveries. I wanted to make sure we are keeping our residents up to date, and to reassure you that collections will continue, and you will get your new food caddies as soon as possible.

“We appreciate our residents’ patience and understanding as we work quickly to get this new service up and running. We’ll keep our website and social media updated on a regular basis to keep everyone informed. We know that not everyone has access to the internet, so would ask you all to check in with your neighbours to keep them updated and let them know what’s happening.”

Details about the service and to view a useful video can be found at
